We are an independent freight brokerage based in Naperville, IL and Montgomery, IL with direct access to a carrier network of over 1,000 trucks and trailers — including flatbed, step deck, RGN, dry van, and reefer equipment.

That means our brokers enjoy real capacity support, faster truck sourcing, and stronger reliability for their customers.

🔹 What We Offer

 • $60,000+ annual base salary (depending on interview and experience, salary may increase)

 • 20% commission on gross margin

 • Access to a carrier fleet of 1,000+ trucks and trailers — exclusively available to Ship Smart brokers

 • Remote position — open to candidates from any U.S. state. We will open the office in that region for you.

 • Full back-office, compliance, and accounting support

 • Transparent commission tracking and fast weekly payouts

 • Opportunities to grow into senior, regional, or team-lead roles

🔹 What We’re Looking For

 • Minimum 2 years of proven freight brokerage experience

 • Existing shipper relationships or book of business preferred

 • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills

 • Knowledge of flatbed, step deck, or open-deck freight is a major plus

 • Motivated, reliable professionals who want to grow with a serious company

 • Ability to multi-task and handle high-pressure environments
